It Started With a Simple Question:
Why Should Reducing Sugar Mean Giving Up Sweetness?
EaseSweet wasn’t created because the world needed another sweetener.
It started with real conversations, real concerns, and a simple observation: people wanted to reduce sugar, but didn’t want to give up the everyday joy of sweetness.
The idea became personal for our founder, a pharmaceutical scientist. When his young nephew experienced tooth decay, it brought attention to how quietly sugar had become part of everyday diets. Around the same time, a family friend living with diabetes shared how difficult it was to enjoy something as simple as sweet tea. Another friend trying to reduce sugar had a different frustration — most alternatives tasted bitter or artificial.
That raised a bigger question:
Could there be a better way?
From Formulation Science to EaseSweet
With a background in pharmaceutical formulation, our founder began looking beyond sweetness alone.
The focus was on understanding how sweetness is perceived, why bitterness appears, how different ingredients interact, and how a formulation could deliver a better everyday taste experience.
After months of research, experimentation and refinement, this work evolved into an IP-backed sweetening technology designed to create a cleaner sweetness experience with reduced aftertaste.
What began as a formulation in the laboratory became something much bigger.
